Hello and welcome to Inside Comedy the comedy e-zine.
The e-zine was the brainchild of Konrad Obiora, who after spending three years researching ideas for a comedy magazine, decided to produce an e-zine instead because a) it was cheaper and b) it allowed greater freedom and flexibility. Inside Comedy went live in April 2006.
So why another comedy website? Well yes it is true there are hundreds of websites on the internet, some good others incredibly bad that cater for comedy fans, but we wanted to produce an e-zine that recognised comedy not only as a form of entertainment but also as a challenging and inspiring art form.
Inside Comedy offers a fresh perspective on creative, thought-provoking and original comedy by exploring the influences of comedians and critically examining their material.
The aim of Inside Comedy is to produce an engaging art e-zine packed with insightful features, reviews and in-depth interviews with the finest, brightest and most provocative comic performers and writers.
We hope you will enjoy reading Inside Comedy and submit your comments on the articles featured in the e-zine (please read our terms of service).
If you have ideas or suggestions for future articles or ways to improve the e-zine please drop us a line. If you are interested in contributing to Inside Comedy please visit the contributions page for further details.
